Terms of service

These terms apply to everyone who visits Mahj Strike's online store (the "Store"), joins our waitlist, or buys from us. "Mahj Strike", "we", "us" and "our" mean the owner and operator of the Store. By using the Store you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Store.

1. The waitlist

Some products are shown as "coming soon". Joining the waitlist is free. It is not an order, a pre-order or a reservation, and you owe nothing. We'll email you when a product becomes available. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

2. Products, pictures and prices

Product images, including mock-ups of products that are not yet made, show the design as closely as we can. Colours on a screen and in print can differ slightly. Prices are in US dollars and may change before a product goes on sale. We may correct errors in descriptions or prices, and we may limit or cancel any order, for example if a product was priced in error. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.

3. Orders and payment

When products are on sale, an order is accepted when we email you a confirmation. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider at checkout; we never see or store your full card details. You confirm that the payment details you give are yours or that you are authorised to use them.

4. Shipping

Shipping times are listed in our Shipping Policy once products are on sale. If an order will not ship within the time we promised, we will email you before that date with a new date and the option to cancel for a full refund.

5. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which will be published before any product goes on sale.

6. Our designs

The Mahj Strike name, logo and mat designs, and the text and images on this Store, belong to us. You may not copy or resell them without our written permission. Traditional mahjong tile motifs are part of a centuries-old game and are not claimed as ours. Mahj Strike is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Mah Jongg League.

7. Using the Store

You agree not to use the Store for anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, to try to access it in ways we don't allow, or to submit false information, including false email addresses on the waitlist.

8. Links to other sites

The Store may link to other websites. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Limits on our liability

The Store is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Store or our products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

10. Privacy

How we collect and use your information, including your waitlist email, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply from the time they are posted and do not affect orders already accepted.
